I need some help here:
I've got a XBOX v1.0 which was softmodded and happily running XBMC.
I needed a bigger HD, so I swapped the original HD for a 120GB.
I downloaded Slayers 2.7 to roll it in, and found out that the softmod is not compatible with Slayers. Therefore I ordered the modchip DUOX2.
It should be arriving tomorrow.
I searched and found the instructions for soldering the chip and so on, but I'm missing the rest of the instructions ...
Can someone link me to a guide that indicates how to operate after the modchip is installed? (or reply in this forum)
What should I see when powering up the XBOX, what should be done then (maybe insert the Slayers disk)? That kind of information.

Hey bro slayers is out of date you should download Auto Installer Deluxe 3.1 it is much better. As far as the chip goes i dont know maybe someone else will help you with that.

Hope so .. there is a lot info about wiring and soldering, but nothing about setting up the system ...

Well, if it's anything like other chips i have seen/used, once you power up the xbox after install, u should see a flash BIOS screen. From here you will need to flash the chip with a BIOS it is compatible with. X2 5035 is compatible with just about every chip out there.
Yes, i agree with Burner, download AID 3.10, and once your chip is installed and flashed, pop it in and install you a dashboard! Okay, I'll just see what BIOS options come up after installing the chip.
But are there no instructions or whatsoever after installing the DUOX chip? There must be others with these questions too...
