Hi all, got an xecuter 2.6 modded crystal xbox with 120gb hdd.

Question is, what should be on the C drive? Its only like 499mb or something formatted, and I want XBMC as my dash, but the fully installed version is too large for this drive. But I found if I install it to my F drive, I get an error on boot which relates to not being able to find the dashboard.

Also, is this correct for a 120gb hdd - c: 499mb, e: 4,840mb, f: 106,216mb

I would recommend putting the m$ dash on drive C in case you have a prob w/ your chip, so you can still boot in retail mode (Provided your hd is locked)
Install XBMC on drive E, if you haven't got it yet I recommend burning yourself a copy of AID3.10 (Torrent available on this site) It can do most of this and more for you.

Ive got AID3.1. Locked the hdd and installed the ms dash. Then installed xbmc to E. On boot it goes straight to the ms dash - how do I get it to boot to the xbmc dash?

You can put a shortcut on the C drive to point to your XBMC install, check out this on the XBMC website:

http://xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index.php?title=As_a_Dashboard

It explains how to do it pretty clearly.
