I'm looking for a water cooling kit to actually go inside my xbox, just for the heck of it... but what size of waterblock should i get, i found an awesome kit that has a 60 x 78 x 23.5 mm block, but do i measure the outside Dimension on my cooling block? i figured i would put this on pc-hq.com because its dealing with pc parts. Thanks Justin

Liquid cooling really is not a nessecity, unless you're just going for the looks (IE, you have some type of clear case). But if you really want to get into addming a cooling supply, check out Halo_user's thread at the top of this forum (the case modding one). That boy had some really sick designs and ideas for case modding and adding water cooling as well.

I don't wanna go to nuts, but the original heatsink is held down with the pressure clip through the middle, i need a way to attach this, it almost looks like it would fit with the same pressure clap, now that i really look at it...

I'm looking around for pricing and i've got my eye on a few kits, because if u add everything up, I might as well buy it all in one.. but if i do go ahead with this, ill either start a new post or keep adding to this one with pictures of whats going on..

I took the plunge and bought a slightly used cooler off ebay, i saved like $40 i looked at that link, and i think the bought cooling blocks would cool alot better then the one he made. no offense, and i also just recieved a free computer so im thinking of buying a new outside case for the computer, one that is more "appealing" then a plain jane metal one. and then use the already there extra power supply to power an xbox and put an xbox inside the case with the computer, is the 12v output for a computer any different from the output of the normal power supply thats used in the xbox now?? also what about another "SATA" for the xbox motherboard??

How would you use SATA with the motherboard?

is it possible to split that?? i'm also looking at the new case and this one has
One (1) 13-inch 20-pin ATX power connector
One (1) 14-inch 4-pin ATX12V power connector
Four (4) 14-inch 4-pin large Molex drive power connectors
One (1) SATA connector
Two (2) 6-inch 4-pin small drive power connectors
wouldnt that be able to power the xbox too?? the current computer has a hdd, cd drive, and a floppy, so with the extra p/s connectors i could just power the xbox too, except for the M/B power question

You'll want to consider the wattage that the PS puts out:it has to power both the PC and the xbox.

450Watt?? and what about the ATX plug, can it be split safely to power both motherboards at once?? or should I just try to also put the xbox supply in the too just to be safe?
