hi all can anyone tell in greater detail like im talking dummy book style on how you would softmod a stright out the box xbox the very first step on link up with the ftp to get your c drive an e backuped on pc then the modifying i have aid 3.0 i also have a usb i did have the splinet cell hack but try to change the network and now it gos in an straight in to evox and locks up to the error 21 that dreded sceen fine reboot anyone one at out hobbs djb sjohn anyone of those guy whould be goo.

If you want to softmod with SID4.5. check:

As for getting your error corrected, can you still boot SC and do you have the gamesave still on the xbox?

hi again are on thats yes i still can go back to sc but because i changed the ip it gos straight to evox dash by the looks of it an then error 21 so the if had of made copy of the sc hack i could of copyed over it

Not trying to be rude, but use punctuation. It's really hard to understand what your saying.

If you can get back in SC and then the SID menus, you will need to hotswap. Check the link in my signature, and you should be good to go. Post back if you have questions about the hotswap procedure.
