I hate being an annoying newb asking stupid questions, but I've researched this for days and days trying all different methods and I can't figure this out!!!!!! I have a v 1.0 box with a Samsung drive. I have a X2.4983 Bios loaded correctly on my box as well with a X-Bit mod chip installed. Either I don't know what to do next or I'm just doing this wrong...but i've created an xiso file with xISOv115 "evoxxiso.xiso" From there I burn it onto a disc, no excuse me... billions of freaking discs!!! I've almost reached the point to where buying the entire x-box library would have been cheaper than burning as many discs as I have!!! I've used Verbatim CD-RW, Imation CD-R ( CD-R's I know are almost pointless to burn but I did it anyway ), Fujifilm DVD-R *made in Japan*, Verbatim DVD-R, Memorex DVD-RW and a flimsy cheapo Hi-Val CD-R. On loading all of them it simply goes to the Xbox menu and tells me that it's not a DVD or music and that the disc might be dirty. One thing that I've heard to try that I haven't done is using a dummy file. And the only reason I haven't done that is because I don't know how to make a dummy file. It is obviously very simple to do because there is no such tutorial on how to do it, I guess im just stupid as hell and that's why I'm begging anyone for help!!! Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a certain media that's GARUNTEED to boot on any or almost all Xbox's? Is there someone or somewhere I could send my Xbox and they'd load it for me? Some one please help!!!! Crying or Very sad
Edit: Someone please help...... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

ok.. I would seriuosly suggest download our XBOXHQ AUTO INSTALLER v1.3f.. You can download if for free from our BitTorrent Section here:
http://xbox-hq.com/html/Bittorrent.html

Or you can become a VIP member and download it directly from our server for only $10 per year..
http://xbox-hq.com/html/downloadsvip.html

Once you download the AUTO INSTALLER all you need to do is EXTRACT the .zip file to oyur pc hard drive where you should get a .ISO file to burn.

Burn this .iso file using DVDDECRYPTER (free) or NERO using a CDR/DVD-r since you have a SAMSUNG.. Samsung is the only XBOX DVDROM drive to read CDR's.. ALL OTHER XBOX DVD ROM DRIVES ONLY READ CDRW and DVD..

Anyway, download the XBOX HQ AUTO INSALLER v1.3f Tutorial/Walkthourgh as well.. It is a PDF file and has screenshots to help you..

Once you boot this DVD in your XBOX it will come up with a menu and allow you to install EVOX DASH, MediaXMenu, XBOX MEDIA CENTER (mp3, divx, xvix etc etc), and many other cool apps for your xbox..

hope that helps.

regards,

Thank you so very much!!! I'll get right on that and tell you what happens. One question though, do you believe I was just burning it wrong or if my xbox truly doesn't read those discs. I need to know if I should try different media or if the media that I have is fine.
Thank You
