i have been trying to get the need hard drive to lock once ive finished building it for almost 2 hours now. i am using xboxhdm to do this and everytime i try to lock the new hdd it says eeprom not on cdrom. i am including them in the eeprom folder b4 i make the iso and i know the files are there. does anyone have any idea why its doing this and what i might be doing wrong or how i can fix this issue. thanx in advance.

Whats the eeprom.bin file called? it should be "eeprom.bin". You can read the file structure through windows to confirm

yes it is an eeprom.bin file. it was named eeprombackup.bin because it was a configmagic backup. but i changed the name and ive tried it both ways with the backup added and without.

So which options are you choosing? When you get the xboxhdm screen, you choose 3 for linux locking tools, then when you get a command prompt, you should type "lockhd -a". Is this what your typing?

What version of xboxhdm?
Can you post a screen shot of what the file structure looks like?

Is the eeprom.bin file in the EEPROM folder?
