Hello all! It's been a while since I've posted so how's everyone been? I hope everything is well.
Ok, I got a couple questions about bittorrents/.iso's.
When I download the .torrent files, sometimes it says "99.9%" and then continues to download past what the file size is supposed to be. Well past what the file size is supposed to be. right now, I am almost a gig past what it said it would be and I am wondering if it is just corrupt and I should stop.
Next question, I downloaded a file and I got a folder with 7 .rar files in it. In each .rar file is a .iso file. WTF do I do? Do I extract each .rar file, and then extract each .iso file into a folder and then FTP that folder over? Or what? I am not trying to burn it to a cd, I am trying to get it ready to just FTP to the box.
Any and all help is always appreciated.
Thanks

Hello
First Question: When a torrent goes over 99.9% it usually means that it's picked up some bad sections of the download. BT waits until the end to collect the bad sections I'm pretty sure.
Second Question: You should only extract the ONE RAR file (usually .rar or .001). It will produce ONE ISO which you can easily transfer to your Xbox using either one of these three tools:
* C-Xbox Tool
* Craxtion
* Qwix
Only recently Forahobby wrote a nice tutorial on Qwix, so I'd probably recommend that one over the lot of them...
Hope this info helps...

Errr... I'm not quite sure I understand. So those other .rar files that are in that folder are not useful? Or when using quix or cxbox tools (which I have) the other .rar files are extracted as well? I mean, I'm sure I could find this out by trying, but if anyone remembers I'm the lazy kid and I'd rather know what to do before trying it Plus I haven't slept in 2 days so...
Thanks guys.
Also, does anything other than VIP go past Xbox-hq enthusiast? I am going to be VIP soon, errr, not so soon, I'm not sure but sometime I will be. But the question is can I move up another "rank" in the forum title?
haha
thanks.
And if anyone wants to play Halo or Battlefront on XBC let me know. I'm ALWAYS online.

You need ALL the RAR files that you download, but you just extract the first one. Then it will work as a chain and extract the info from all the RAR files. This is when you use cxbox tools.
Hope that clears it up a bit more...

I got impatient so I did what you said and it worked. My oconfusion came from only extracting one file and then it working for the rest of them. Both err uh downloads worked great on the box. Thanks for the help, and I was even here to ask why the extra .rar files were there, but you already answered that.
Thanks a bunch for the prompt responses.
