So i screwed up my first softmod. Big suprise there, anyway when i try to boot it up i get a flashing red green light and a code 13. So i tried to reinstall the softmod via the splinter cell hack, but the game does not read the linux game save. Is there anything i can do short of buying a new harddrive? I really wouldnt care if i hav to erase the whole d**n thing. On a side not do you have to use SID or can you just use AID for installing the softmod? Thanks for your time.

If you can boot ok then your good. Just drop it in and see what happens.

I tried to boot the xbox with no disk in it with both the power button and the eject disk in an attemp to get to the ms dashboard to copy the splinter cell hack and the flashing red/green light comes up. and when i put the game in to try to get to the gamesave it cant find it . i screwed up big time didnt i

ohh if u can someone how unlock the hd u could pop it in your pc. But im a noob so u really cant listen to me...

get a chip? im sure theres oter ways to fix this but a chip would be the best way to go, that way u can fix it no matter what!!! You have to chip your xbox, the red and green flashing LED is what we call christmas lights, the tsop is gone, you have no choice but to install a modchip now. Hotswap will not work, using AID will not work, It has to be chipped. _________________
