Ok, i have 2 computers hooked up to a D-Link router, all of the sudden neither computer wants to connect to the internet.....i even hooked my xbox up to it, and nothing. Now i have my computer hooked up straight to the Modem itself. Any1 know wats going on here?

also the status light on the router just blinks on and off, not like its doing anything more like it cant connect

Do a hard reset. Hold the reset button on the router. This should put it back to a usable format.

Set your NIC to DHCP and connect it to the router. If you get an IP, open your browser and connect to your default gateway. Default loging and password is admin with no password(lol, should work now Smile ).

If you can get in there see if the router is getting an IP from your modem.

try other ports, I have a router that a port burnt out, I know that it rarely happens, but it does, and its a D link too LOL, also see if your router has a firmware upgrade for it, that can help too.
