Hey all, got my old webcam out while I was cleaning out my office! Figured I'd throw it up online and see what it could do. It's been so long since I have used it.
Select View Live Webcams, Select Friends and Family
Look for 'themodgod' in the list and click on it. It's quite fuzzy, but until I get a better setup now people can see if I am actually sleeping or really working on their machine!! HA..

Yeah, if I am not in front of it you can only see the background crap...plus it's an old cam and reso isn't that great. I got it abou five years ago when cams were just coming out.
I just thought it would be funny to put a cam up for when I am tinkering around on the machines...
Probably if I put it a little closer to my workspace it would be a more clear picture.
I am going to go out this weekend and get a better cam anyway..

Yeah, it's off right now.
I only have it on when I am working on a machine. As of right now I have two machines I have to work on, but won't get to them till later tonight. Which then, the cam will be on and in it's low reso glory!!
I always put the persons name of who's machine I am modding in the upper right hand corner. So, that way the people know I am on their machine. It's quite corny, but so far I have had unbelievable response from it. I am going to get a better cam this weekend most likely, and then will also get a different service. I will add audio and conferencing to it so I can kinda let people know what it is that is going on...and they can hear all the shits, dams, and mother f'rs that go into a great mod! Not to mention watch my daughter interrupt me in the middle of an LPC rebuild so I can fetch her a glass of water! HA.

Thats was funny forahobby. BTW I know I said I would be uploading files into the site, but I have been having PC trouble....turns out the modem and the ethernet sites on it were fried from the damn power outtages, thank God for insurance(and thank God I took all the warranties on that one). Anywho I just sent my Xbox off to RM for some case mods, and when it get back Im gonna back everything up unto the PC and put some files up in the VIP section.

Yes, that would be awesome forahobby!! I have a brand new unopened Halo SE that I was saving for the right time...well, someones $600 was the right time...HA. I just started tearing it down so I will be modding it Saturday early afternoon. My daughter is having a slumber party tonight, so I am in charge of breakfast....so no late night with the soldering iron tonight!
A friend of a friend heard I was moddig and mentioned how they were bumming about missing the Halo SE model and when I said I still had two in boxes he started throwing money my way...DAMN I feel like such a whore! HA.
As much as I wanted to keep this puppy under wraps for another year or so I just couldn't pass it up!! I just opened mssheesh's Halo machine the other day too... finally got time to mod it. That was the one I was doing last night when the cam went up.
Just let me know what you need from me and I'll get the info out to you.

im not sure whether to add a WEBCAM MODULE so our users can add other webcams..??
What is your webcam link? You should be streaming using some sort of software.. Im not into webcams and dont even have one but im sure i can add it for you..

Speaking of slumber parties and webcams, you could make a LOT of money setting up your webcam at a slumber party. No! Not your 3-year-old daughter's! Invite some hot teenage chicks from the neighborhood over and sell VIP memberships to your website! Call them "The 'Other' Mod Squad"! Film them "flashing" their, ummm, chips! And "putting your oversized hard drive into their hot little Xboxs"...
