can I burn aid on a dvd and make it bypass error 21 on my modded xbox cause I can't get to my dash board anymore I messed up one of my files in e:...?

not unless it will still boot backups, if not then you will need to do a hotswap

We need more info first..

Do you have a modchip or a softmod.

If you have a modchip you can just burn a DVD-R of AIDeluxe and fix your problems..

If you have a softmod you wil lneed to perform a hotswap more then likely using your pc.. There are tutorials in our xbox tutorials section here:

I have a similar problem.I have an error 21 code which loads after the startup sreen i am unable to load xbox or other disks, so i installed a modchip and tried to use slayers on a disk i burnt and it wouldnt work, I then tried to use AiD3 i tried to burn it on 2 disks 1st a dvd rw then a cd rw neither worked (I have a thompson drive). I really need help i dont usually post i try to find things myself but i am really stuck please help Smile thanks!!!!!

If ti won't play your disks, try a DVD-R, I recommend memorex as I have yet to have a problem with this disk. Also try burning at the lowest possible speed.

Do you have a newer xbox with a diferent dvd drive that you could replace just to replace the dash files to fix this.

Also, make sure your modchip is flashed with a hacked bios and not the MSDash or Cromwel, then it will not boot AID. Oh, and to make your life easier, find the slayer's iso, hold down shift and press Delete. That will save you a lot of headache.

If your chip is bunk, then you need to hotswap.
