Whenever I try to FTP it, It says that the machine denied it , or somwthing along those lines.
Any Idea whats wrong?

Whats your IP of you computer and xbox, subnet mask and default gateway and what ftp program are you using?
Also are you connected to a router or directly connecting to your xbox from you PC? _________________

1.My Ip adress is obtained automatically, I know my IP is 192.168.1.103 and subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and my xbox Info is made up
IP 222.22.2.111
Subnetmask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 112.255.41.211
, (I made it up the first time, then tried it again with a different one, like 8 times)
2.I'm using SmartFTP v2.0
3.I connected my xbox-pc via crossover cable
Is my IP suppose to be the same on xbox and pc?

the IP shouldnt be the same or it wont connect, now it this is your computers 192.168.1.103, then the xboxes should look like this 192.168.1.104.
Now the subnet mask and the default gate way should be the same on the PC and Xbox, as shown
I'll try that, but I have another question:
After I change system settings on my xbox do I have to restart/reboot my xbox? Or does it matter?

Is that what I put in Default gateway on the xbox (as in: Is it suppose to be my DG? Or is it different? If it is different, where can I find it?)

I can tell from your IP of your computer. Trust me its there. If it was differnt from you xbox, they wont connect, the connection would be refused or it just cant find anything to connect too. _________________
