Yes, I use this feature on every mod I make. I personally have roms for over half of the emu's (approximately 25-30 thousand roms all in all). Granted some of the systems roms work better than others. I am currently trying to find a better Genesis collection as a lot of the 2000 plus Genesis games I have won't load correctly.
I have about 12 DVDs and 17 CDRS full of roms. The 17 CDR set is an installer for a PC, but I just extract the roms out of the setup files. The DVDs are all roms..nothing but roms.
I also have playable DVD rom disks for a few emus and roms like the old laser disk games. I could never get the emu to work off of the HD for some reason so I settled for playable rom disks. Thayers Quest, Dragons Lair, and M.A.C.H III bring back great memories of some of my favorite arcade games. I used to love those laser disk games....at least when they were working properly...lol.
Well emus is all I know bro..I also have every sega game ever so I can just burn you a CD-RW when I meet up with you here in a few weeks, also running them off the HDD is cake and no problem at all. After my HDD blew up I lost so many many many roms I cried for a few days. But I have most of them back and with better emus runing them too. Hell you know what I just bring the xbox and you can FTP to the PC _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

im just angry at myself because xbox hacking and computers is not my specialty. I am very Sorry if i accused anybody
I tried Daedelus X and i got the emulator to launch, but i really dont know how to use it. I FTPd some roms to a folder i created in the emulators files called roms. I go to the game launcher in the emulator and no games appear, what?

Well I have never heard of that emu before?? are you sure that is for the xbox?? also you shouldn't have to make any folder at all. It will already be there. Then the roms should show up after you reboot the xbox. and Don't worry I didn't know anything really about emu till I read and read and failed. I got it to work. I downloaded it from logic-sunrise.com. All i did was transfer the files..

But... Whenever i launch a rom, i get a black screen. And whats a RICE?
I get that for Conkers bad fur day... Not for the rest.

Ok thats what you have to play with. only a few games I know of play off the the top emu (one without # in the name) then that would shouldn't ask you anything about rice. I play mariokart off of that one. Now about 80 of my roms for the 64 I start up with the middle emu with the first or middle rice. That works most of them. You have to play around and find the best combo. Now 64 is going to be a hit or miss that games use a crazy amt of ram and the xbox will never take it so some or even most play choppy some times. Also surrealxxx you do have to scan for roms sometimes that is listed in the menu. Glad to see you got it, now you can paly with it and put skins for it and other emu running too (which surrealxxx is a hard one and the rest are easy beside neo geo) _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
