Im new to the Emulators but not to xbox modding.
Just a few questions. What are Emulators?
Which one to get?
How to setup?

Ok emu play older games off of your xbox. NES, SNES, SEGA.... All can be played from you xbox. Next where Xbins, AID3 disc, there own web site. You install them to your E drive (or F drive if you have a large HDD) under the emu folder. Then you put Roms in the rom folder and then you can play the game. As for finding roms, You can never ever ask that we are not allowed nor do we support it here as well. but google it and you will find it. LOL...yuo but I have yet to use any of it really....I just have a labtop and can't burn DVD's so there the AID3.04 gone and I can only FTP for ten mins...so theres my server access gone..lol. I dont have any games like SNES, NES, or SEGA, so i dont need to worry about emulators, huh.

I managed to be able to launch Surreal, but when i do it goes right back to the evox dashboard. What am i doing wrong?

This post makes me think of the Tut Pson was talking about making.. So many questions and Im sure they get asked 1000 times.

LOL...I have been PMing him all day. Also I have been slammed but will E-mail you here soon.
As for the emu I don't think you have the full file or are missing much needed ones. Best bet is get a AID3 disc and with 5 mins all the newest emu will be complete and runing waiting to install your roms. This disc has saved me over and over again. It wasn't even till 2 months ago I knew this site make the program. Which I think you can get DL for free? But do that or go to www.logic-sunrise.com they rock making the best emu for neo geo and K1 and K2. the really cool thing is there just hooked up with FBAXXX pro (which are two drff programs) to make better emus faster Sorry went off there..but join there fourm and then you can DL the newest ver of thier Emu. and go from there...it should also come in .rar fourm so unrar it and FTP it over (don't forget to put all your roms in before FTP over...it saves time _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

LMAO... Dont work?? Well I did sid 4.5 nk softmod and then used 3.02 to do upgrades and then got 3.04 to get newest stuff.. Maybe you having issues taking AID 3.0 and addin 3.04 to it??? A few steps but not real hard if u go step by step as PDF says... U can always d/l each emulator u want and FTP them over yourself and making sure you put them in correct folders. Either wasnt real hard for me but i perfer AID with teh 1 click to install each emu i wanted... I want to know does anyone click INSTALL ALL EMU??? who could ever play and collect all those roms? just a thought.

AID disk works fine.
Possibly user error??
I have been using AID since its inception. Even when there were actually two installers. AID and and Emulator installer disk. That was before AID had both emu's and apps and such.
The reason you are going to constantly hear AID is because one, the autoinstaller is the most innovative thing to hit modding. It probably is responsible for tens of thousands of successful mods across the world. And two, Autoinstaller deluxe just plain kicks ass. It blows any other installer-wannabee out of the water...period.
If you are not in the mood to hear the word AID...you are on the wrong site

Yes, I use this feature on every mod I make. I personally have roms for over half of the emu's (approximately 25-30 thousand roms all in all). Granted some of the systems roms work better than others. I am currently trying to find a better Genesis collection as a lot of the 2000 plus Genesis games I have won't load correctly.
I have about 12 DVDs and 17 CDRS full of roms. The 17 CDR set is an installer for a PC, but I just extract the roms out of the setup files. The DVDs are all roms..nothing but roms.
I also have playable DVD rom disks for a few emus and roms like the old laser disk games. I could never get the emu to work off of the HD for some reason so I settled for playable rom disks. Thayers Quest, Dragons Lair, and M.A.C.H III bring back great memories of some of my favorite arcade games. I used to love those laser disk games....at least when they were working properly...lol. _________________ Xbox 1.4

Dang... thats alot of roms... I just startin out so its a slo build up to collect roms that work. I have a little over a dvd worth. So I guess it will take time to get a good collection built up so I have a need for some of teh emu out there.
