You can get good LEDs there. They also have resistors.
RadioShack does sell the type of LEDs you want, but like the sales people they are not too bright Typically around 600mcd.
I usually don't like to go under 5000mcd, although the UV LEDS are mostly around 3000mcd.
IR LEDs...that's priceless!
