xbox have never been chipped and system is still the same

one has cd spindle with two holes on left and right side the other one just has spindle in middle with u cutout

I dont know how else to verify the types of opitical drives

If an error occured during a softmod, they can probably be fixed, I wouldn't sell them.

What was the problem?

Not hard at all if you know what your doing.

batjokeriddle, if your willing to fix the error you could probably sell the systems for more than what your asking.
