OK.. So i have run into a bit of a snag. I have my xbox Softmodded with Unleash X dash. No problem. I am trying to upgrade my drive to a Maxtor 120GB (Model# 6y120p032211). I'm using XboxHDM 1.9. I went through all the steps. Made a back up of my eeprom, copied over my C & E and the eeprom via FTP. Created the Linux.iso, burned it to DVD, went through all the steps of successfully buidling the drive and then i locked it successfully. My problem is when i put it into my xbox, the box boots up, gets to the xbox logo then restarts and starts an endless cycle of doing this. What am i doing wrong. I thought maybe i had done something wrong so i redid all my steps, and same thing. HELPP!!!!
P.S. I have two of these drives and they are both doing the same thing. Thanks

check to see if it is on master or cable select, i had one of them that did that but when i put it on master it worked fine _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

Yeah i did try taht and it still does it. I've done a dzen of these things, but its with this model drive i have a problem.

Have you tried with stock MSdash? Its possible(unlikely) that the files are just corrupt and its causing a reboot.

Yeah i always use the default MS dash so i get a clean install. No problems in XBoxHDM, and yes Windows can see the unlocked Drive.
