What is the latest version of mame for the xbox or does it matter? The a.i.d 3.0 has 2 ver. and i'm not sure witch one 2 use.. I have all the roms on my computer and I am aware that mame updates all the time. TY

Well there in a newer one out there but Mame128 is better then that. Which you can get on xbins. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

mame 128 is the one i'm using.. Does anyone know if there is a game list or what ver. of mame it's up to for the xbox. Do chd's play because I have all the roms and chds for mame on my computer. TY

I just experiment..
My life is one big experiment. I can build arcade cabinet with all mame and daphne roms but when it comes to my xbox modded, I've read more in a week about the xbox than i ever read in the 5 years I went to college 10 years ago.
I can't even get the 300 gigs. out of my hard drive. I used a.i.d 3.0 and still am only getting 127. I've come to the point where it just doesn't matter anymore. Anyone have a def. way to do it cause my G drive still shows 0!!!

If you have a chip then your bios is old and you can just ftp the new bios file in the folder. If your softmoded then you just need to run a program to unlock the rest. As for MAME....Just go to xbins and DL the latest ver of mame. then your covered...I just don't see why your getting all worked up over then one. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

The problem with not getting all your HD space is due to LBA48 issue. The bios you are using just doesn't support the larger HD.
If you post what version motherboard you have, and what mod chip you are currently using we can better assist you in letting you know what bios will work better for you. That way, you can either have one big honking F partition, or a larger F partition, and the rest on G partition. _________________ Xbox 1.4

I got it all figured out. Ty for your interest in trying to help me. I used a prog. called evtool and it allowed me to change my bios where the problem was. This is the link that saved the day.

Yeah, EvTool can change a bios as long as it already had the LBA48 hack. If I would have known what bios you were using I could have suggested that.
