Earth 2350 C.E.. Major economic centers in the northern hemisphere have been destroyed or submerged by a cataclysmic event along the Ring of Fire centuries before. The equator now divides the planet into the haves and have-nots. While the south has formed a peaceful, stable, government, tyrannical despots to the north rule their water-soaked populations with brutality and oppression. Rumors abound in the south about northern tyrants mobilizing massive armies for an all out invasion.
