To call Bad Boys: Miami Takedown a bad game is to give it too much credit
It''s an amazingly pathetic attempt to cash in on a movie license - over a year late, with absolutely nothing to tie it to the original movie, and rendered in a 3D engine that might''ve looked sweet on the N64. On second thought, it would have looked terrible there too.
Bad Boys tries to be more than a straight shooter, requiring you to use cover and tactics. But it''s like polishing a turd : pointless...no matter how much you polish it...you still have a turd. Bad Boys is the worst expample of game companies squeezing a worthless dime out of a franchise. It must have been assumed that at least some of the people who enjoyed the movie might be suckered into buying this. Nobody who worked on or played this game would dare admit it!
