I recently downloaded FlashFXP and I can't figure out how to transfer files from my computer to my xbox. I hooked them together with the cat5 cable and they are connected to the network, but i can't figure out how to send ROMS from my computer to the destinated location on my xbox hard drive. My XBOX is modded and has a 160gb hard drive and a executer mod chip. Please help me?

Sure, no problem. Are you able to connect properly??
Give us a little more info. When you say your xbox is connected to your network, do you mean it's connected to a router? If so...then what you need to do is assign the Xbox an IP address that's compatible with your network. If you go to a dos window and type ipconfig in you will get your IP address. To get the command prompt up, just click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Promt. (Windows XP method).
Then, type in ipconfig , all one word.
If your IP Address is something like 192.168.1.100 then you want to go to your Xbox into the EvoX settings and configure the IP Address to be : 192.168.1.101
Then, scroll down to where it says "Save And Exit". Do not just put the IP address in and hit B to back out. Once you select Save and Exit, you will need to restart your system.
Let us know if you can now connect. Once you do, we can tell you how to FTP the roms to the Xbox.

Are you using the right cable?
you cant use the same cable that your
pc normally uses to connect to the modem,
(cant for the life of me remember
the names of the two types of
cable but the one you want is
the one were the wires in the conectors don't match each other - if
that makes any sense.
Other than that follow modgods instructions to the T and you'll
be networked up in no time.

hi UGAfan4life7,
I wrote a couple of tutorials to help newbies with their pc network and xbox in the past... Ill link you to some of them now and anything else i think might help.
Its very simple once you get the rough idea.
Your XBOX and PC must both be on the same ip range.
eg.. If your pc ip address was 192.168.0.1 with submit of 255.255.255.0 then you would setup your xbox to be on 192.168.0.2 with subnet of 255.255.255.0..
See what i mean.. They are in the same range. Only the last number is different.. Subnets must always match and are never different.
