Theres the issue right there, your hardmodded. Open up pimped on your PC and replace the contents of C folder with whats in the E-Backup-MS folder, also put the evoxdash.xbe thats in the E folder in the C folder and use that to rebuild the HDD. All good. I didnt realise you were running a hard mod thought you were using a softmod but the Xcuter logo means hardmod for sure

I didn't know it was "hard modded" because I was there watching the guy mod it and the only "hardware" that he installed was the hard drive.
So my xbox is hardmodded if it shows the bubbling orb which turns into the xbox "X" than the text "executor 2" appears below that "X"

Do you mean opening up the source files than burn new install discs?

I think I got it fixed, I fallowed your instructions sorta, I used the xbrowser and copied from the install disc to the hd overwriting anything with the same name and left alone what was on the hd c drive but not on the backup ms directory and I copied the evoxdash to the c drive also and now it works... don't know if I shoud erase the other items from the c drive that I left behind or not but if it's working I don't want to f*ck it up... now I just need to link it to my pc and transfer my games and gamesaves. thank you.

Yep the Midnight Commander approach works good, just its a little complicated, thats why I suggested editing the disc on your PC. All that matters is that it works though
The Executer logo on the splash screen can only be put there 2 ways by flashing a new BIOS or editing NKPatchers memory BIOS. The chances of it being the second are slim and none on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 it ranks as a 12. If theres no chip its been TSOP flashed which is basicaly poor man chipping.
Since you are hardmod id recomend grabbing XBMC-App Installer for future use. I set it up to work with softmod or hardmod straight outa the box and has pretty much everything you need to fix issues in the future via the XBOX (hardmod means you can pretty much always boot a burned disc, screwed up softmods cant)

where would I find the XBMC-App Installer? well my disc drive (it says "Tray Empty" even with a disc in it) is jacked up but I thing thats a subject for another post.

ok I'm back with the latest problem again... screen goes black after intro screens... how do I edit the install disc? I tried to edit the iso with 7zip while it was compressed and it would allow it... and when I tried to extract it the program asked me if I wanted to over write some files so I don't know if that will mess it up... it would be nice if there was a way to make a disc that I can put in the xbox that would boot to a dashboard and or a file explorer so I can recopy from the E-Backup-MS folder...

I have a little program on my computer called SimpleXISO. If it is on the downloads section, get it there but otherwise PM me and I will give you the IP to my FTP server so you can download the program.
SimpleXISO allows you to extract an ISO and than recombine it again after you have made changes. _________________

I always recomend using CXBOX-Tools. Its what I use to make and extract all my XISO and its a site app so theres a + there
And try cold booting the disc or else manualy running the xbe via filemanager. Should be no issue for your XBOX to run XBMC Installer. With the latest its pretty much wham bam thank you mam. Run it, delete your skins/trainers, config.xml/ini, items.xml etc from E using its filemanager, then hit return to stock. When its done click the dash you want. Remove the disc. Poweroff, wait a few seconds and power on.
If you still have issues let me know and I will make you a config so you can run it off the F drive instead of via disc
