still boots into the ms dash - i did read somewhere that the xselect works but not for the cromwell bios which is what i think i have since i have the duox2 chip, as far as i can tell so far is i need to figure out how to edit or make a file to tell it to boot the E:\xbmc\default.xbe, it boots fine if i go to the file manager and click on it, also another quick question, i use flashfxp to move files back and forth and after transferring for about 3-5 minutes my transfer hangs up and then i have to reboot the xbox and then resume the transfer, i cant quite figure out why, any idea's? all systems hooked to a 8 port router

also i have the original hd with the xbmc on it and it works great, but the link goes to e:\mc\default.xbe instead of E:\xbmc\default.xbe, can i edit it somehow and throw it to the c:\ of the xbox?

Yeah man i been holding down the forums for some time now. lol
You could try putting this in the root of C and see if it pans out for you.

ftp'd them over to the C:\ and when i booted it came up to a different screen that i could access the files and game but it was all messed up looking - likea grid looking screen. Im most likely going to give up for awhile and just copy the old version back over to the new hd "that will work since i did it aklready" I really want a new fresh install but oh well the old version works just a mess of files.
