All depends on what era/decade you come from I suppose. People my age and older will always look back at SF as the game that got them going, along with things like Mortal Kombat.
Whereas the slightly younger generation will look at games like Tekken and Soul Caliber etc as their starter games.
You know, in 20 years time, there'll be a post on this site saying how Street Fighter 12 or Tekken 10 was the game that got them into fighting games, lol.
