Is there a way to get the eeprom off a hard disk with out a chip or softmod? I want to put a new drive in one of my xboxes but, I want to leave the original drive as is in case I ever decide to swap it back. Thanks in advance!

You could allways do a quick softmod then restore it back to normal.

just back up the MS dash and restore it after you get the eeprom.

My biggest fear is that the softmod is gonna screw uop and I'm gonna lose everything and have a dead xbox.. lol

Lol dude softmods now adays are so safe its not even funny. Just softmod the xbox, get the eeprom off the HDD and then uninstall the softmod. Its that easy.

yup... make sure you install evox as your dash since its got a built in option to back up your eeprom.
