Here's a little fact for all you that don't know it:
Xbox ISOs can not be read on the PC like normal PC ISOs.
You can burn them like normal, but if you try and use many programs to actually extract it or open it (like winrar etc) it will come up as corrupted, this is because Windows doesn't read the Xbox's filesystem.
Hope that clears a few things up...
Unless of course you use Qwix which is a pc app that can read/extract/create xbox ISO's
I was refering more to the non Xbox ISO apps. Ofcourse programs like Qwix and C-Xbox Tool will open the ISO fine.

Ok, I know I'm starting to be a pain in the @ss but, I wanna make sure I do this right so I dont mess it up again.
I have a new 80gb hard disk that I have softmodded with evox via the hotswap method. All I want to do is add xbmc as my start up dash. How can I go about doing this with AID with out messing my drive up and giving myself an error 13....again
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Uh, unless it has a virtual C which sounds more a risk, I think you have the option of softmod One-Click install which theorically should just reformat your C drive with xbmc and erase your evox stuff.
Edit: Right this moment I'm softmodding a 30 and 40 gig HDD with my modded xbox, but I should be able to do exactly what you are with it since it's only helping me boot the CD, so IM me if you have problems.

I used the one click install for a large softmodded drive and still came up with an error 13.

Ok, I burnt it to a DVD-R and followed all the steps in the manual. I put it in the xbox and rebooted, at first it just stayed on the Xbox boot screen and then after about 45 seconds, it booted AID. Everything seems to be in order now.
Here's my question...
I allready have a softmodded box (via hotswap). I have xbmc installed allready and I just want to make that my default dash without messing anything else up. Can this be done with AID? I read thru the manual and didnt see any instructions on doing this.
dude im not sure, because if your box is softmodded (which i have never done) i dont know what drive / partition it boots to, im sure its the C drive, and the problem with that is that the C drive is too small to install XBMC on. there is a way to do this, but i dont know how to do it. i just have a chipped box and i put XBMC on my E drive and told my bios to boot to E in stead of C. how if you didnt install all the add on packs and scrips for XBMC, it might fit. thats as much as i know about that though.
report your success or unsuccess.

Ok, I try to run the 1 click install and it copies a few files and comes up with an error that says "Batch failure" or something like that. Then when I reboot I'm right back at the error 13 and it wont read the AID DVD. This is getting annoying.......
