You dont need to take them out just un plug them..

And unplug the dvd in xbox..

make shure that the xbox is close to be able to plug the IDE cable from the comp when you need to..

Hold on

Just unplug hdd's from comp

and the dvd drive from xbox

when you have your comp with the cd in it on and paused

turn on the xbox and you will get an error #11 unplug the xbox hdd IDE cable and plug the ide cable from the comp in to the xbox then press spacebar...

Keep reading the TUTT steps slowly so to uderstand them well..........

take out just the power to your hdd in the comp. Cos it an sata HDD This way there will no chance of you wiping it

unplug the dvd roms IDE then use that to plug in to your xbox.

so the IDE cable comes from mother bord to cd-rom to xbox HDD when ready..

as for the xbox error 11 or 12 is ok

But you must turn on the xbox b4 taking out the IDE cable from HDD so it can unlock it..

7. Turn on the PC, Before the PC BIOS looks for hard drives, hit the Pause/Break key. It should pause at this time.

8. Turn on the Xbox .

9. It will boot to an error code(nr 11) regarding the dvd-rom, but the hdd will be unlocked, this way you'll get xboxhdm to access it on first attempt Now remove ide from hd and swap it to the pc

10. Hit space bar to continue booting the PC. If it takes a long time to boot (several minutes), then the HD has not been unlocked.
