Have you retried your AID disk? It will make things much easier.
Ok, to get FTP working, we can help you with that, but we need to know how your connecting the xbox and computer together? Are you using a router, or directly from PC to xbox? _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

in other words connecting your pc to your xbox directly with a crossover cable. _________________

guys just as a side note, the Xenium Gold doesnt have switchable bios banks. The bios is selected through the Xenium OS software launch menu.

Ok, im fine with connecting, its just that around half the time i try to connect it doesnt work. I have a really long cable that goes into my router. My router is connected to my computer. Ive have tried rebooting my xbox when i cant connect and that seems to do the trick.
But, still i cant connect when im on the evox dashboard
and
I want to play homebrew games (if they're any good) from xbins, but i im kinda clueless about where to put the files. I put them on E, a default.xbe and a media folder, and at the launch menu at evox dashboard, there is games and apps, there are no games inside
Ive tried the aid disc, and yet again

You need to change your setting in your dash to FTP...also I have found that your crossover cable has to be in before the xbox starts or you have to change the setting on your xbox. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Yeah, specify your IP settings. you can manually edit the evox.ini file or you can edit them through the settings option in your evox menu. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

That depends on the size of your HD and how it's formatted. Either E:/Games or F:/Games...also, each game has to be in it's own folder..for instance, if you had two games..one named Game ONE and the other named Game TWO your hierarchy would look like this:
(RETAIL DRIVE)
E:/Games
Game ONE
Game TWO
(LARGER HARD DRIVE)
F:/GAMES
Game ONE
Game TWO
Inside each game folder the game files would exist. When you rebooted your Xbox the evox.ini file would then look into the main game folder and find the games...it would then populate your game list and the games would be selectable (that is if all is correct).
In my opinion the best way to put your games on the HD is to rip them from your original using DVD2Xbox or PxHDDLOADER. I prefer the first program that I mentioned.
If you are downloading homebrew games, then what I previously mentioned is the key _________________ Xbox 1.4

Ok, so assume your saving to your E partition, the file structure should look like:
Is that what it looks like? (substitue actual file names) _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Have you gotten FTP to work in evox? I wouldn't try it through the xenium OS.
If your having issues with evox, and you have a shorter cable, you could bring the xbox close to the pc. Just leave the video cables connected to the xbox but not plugged into anything, and power it on. when it boots it will be sitting in evox and you should be able to FTP into it nice and easy. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Chances are you downloaded a pool game that was named quake. I hate when people don't check files before uploading them for share.
You don't know how many things I have downloaded thinking they were one thing and then they turn out to be something different. _________________ Xbox 1.4
