I didn't even knew he was soft to hard? But couldn't he just delete all those files?? With the chip he doesn't even need them, just the xbox and the hacked dash. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

With the xecuter bioses, you need the .ini file telling the xbox what dash to boot (much like Xselect). Alternatively, Hoyas, you could also install XSelect as your dashboard, then let that find all your dashboard files for you and have a series of hotbuttons setup to boot whatever dash you want on dashboard boot (as long as your BIOS is looking for the Xselect dashboard on boot). But, hey, glad I could help you get your Bios working. You made a great choice in that one, Xecuter BIOSes are definitely one of the strongest lines out there. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

im compying one of my games, but does it sound right for the xbox's video_ts to have 6 files totaling 11.7 mb? Cause it seems the size is way to small.

are you trying to copy the disc by putting it into your dvd tray in your computer? If so, that won't work, your drive will read it like a dvd-movie.
There are tutorials in the tutorial section on how to backup games, you can check them out here _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

No, i put the disc in my xbox and connected with Crystal FTP, and with this FTP client i can see the files under each xbox drive.
I tried putting a homebrew game from xbins on my xbox but it didnt work too well. There was a media folder and a default.xbe. It was a pool game . under launch menu for evox there was games and apps. I went in games and i should see the pool game, right?

Depends where you put it. Evox will typically look in E:\Games, F:\Games or G:\Games, and search direct subdirectories for the game. So, if you have the game in E:\Games\Pool, and the files and subdirectories from there, it should see it, though you may need to edit you evox.ini file.
As for you game backups, it sounds like the xbox is trying to read the disc as a movie and not a game. Are you able to play the game normally if you launch it from within evox?
If nothing else, try installing unleashx as an application and see if it reads the disc ok. Or you could try dvd2xbox application, save it to your drive(size permitting) and just ftp the files off your HDD. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Put all the folders in your Apps directory. If your installing everything to E:, then put it to E:\Apps\DVD2Xbox
Now that you have another dash, I would give AID another crack, as it simplifies most of this tremendously.

Did you go to your setting and change it for FTP?? You will have to do that on your new dash. As for the games you need them to be DVD-R and at the slowest speet ever...if you have a tommy. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
