damn! why didnt i think of that.. BUT isnt there a file wher u can patch sometin called lba48 or somstin like tha?? just wanna make sure.. ALSO i will be having the same problem as him righ??? i have a 200gb maxtor hdd new never used.. berly opend.. EXCEPT im gonna make it ms retail on it ... then softmod from there... will i have the same problem as he is ?

That a bios for chipped boxes.
With what you want to do, you will need an xboxhdm disc made with a retail dash like the one under pirrup's sig. Just go through the build a hdd from scratch choice. Lock the hdd and you're good to go

ok sounds good. but i will need aid to make my 200gb @ full compacity righ? so i download pirrusp retail c ms dash then eeprom .. do i transfer my E tdata udata? or leave that stuff ftp on to my pc?

ok cool.. but if im doing oem retail then if i have apps or emu's then what happens from there??????

how can i just find the game saves ??? everyting else i dont care i guess..

im thinking i should ftp my gamesaves that i want to keep .... then put them on later... or transfer then to mem card ... what u think is the best or what is your ideals dangrermouse?

Since you are planning to go with a retail set up, I would transfer the saves to your memory card. That way you won't have to mess with ftp or worry about which files you have to copy.

Perfect ideal... danger mouse i transfer my gamesaves mem card . then from there i just transfer my C dash > pirrup and eeprom righ?? and i forget about E folder right?

and my burnrd hdd games? i ftp those righ??? what about game saves from emu's super nes super mario. what i do to save those?

Keep that stuff saved on your pc. That way you have it on the old hdd and backed up on the pc.

how do i transfer those game saves from emulaters? super nes thou.. THERE IS a option where u click on the file manager in sid2.0 then click Y and it says download game saves or somtn like that..

or do i delete the game saves from my hdd as soon as i save em to mem card?

if you delete all your download content (free stuff) and your music (ms dash music ) then your t & u data should be small enough to not cause a problem
whack them on your linux disk also.

best thing to do with every thing else is make a complete backup of your xbox on your pc- make a folder called xbox make folders in that called c, e & f then fill them with whatever you find in the relevent folders on your xbox, when you`ve got your hdd up and running copy everything back to your xbox again.

thx yeah i thought of that so thats's why i back it up to diffrent directorys.. BUT i think i want a stock oem retail dash.. so im just gonna put C , EEPROM and once i boot first time its gonna make a E folder.. then from there i'm gonna start first ever account for live then sid4 from there with dual boot. open drive retail dash n safe to play xbl...
