Hello, I have been having a hell of a time with this Bios thing. Can someone give me some advice on which Bios I should use for a version 1.6 xbox, and the x-chip.

I installed the Evox v1.3 4MB version, and then loaded the M8_16.bin, M8+_16.bin, The one by Yoshi and there is one other. Everything gives me the FRAG. I had it working a little earlier. After I would boot into it with the power button, if I hit the eject button, it would give me the evox for a few seconds and then I would get an error code of 16. Then if I disconnected my modchip, I would get the same results with the MS dashboard except I would get an error code of 06. I'm not a professional solderer, but I think my soldering job looked very good. The only thing that wasn't great was the lpc pin header thingy. I put it on one board, and ended up melting the plastic, so the pins would move freely, and a few are slightly higher than the others, but the chip still seats all the way down. I tried using a nickle and spreading the pins. I'm at the point were I think I have a faulty modchip? Could this be the problem?
Thanks

id say redo your soldering job at the lpc ,
or just add more solder around the pins and make sure the solder sinks into the holes
i dont think the chip is bad but there is a always a slim chance _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

I resoldered the points, but I have the same problem. I'm really confused. Does everyone have this much trouble, or am I just lucky?
