I having problems FTPing and have tried to burn a dat cd and dvd in order to get files on my xbox. The problem is when i put the disc in and go to the file manager on XBMC, I select the dvd rom drive and it says path invalid or not found. Audio cd come up no problem and so do Store bought movie DVD's. I'm trying to put MPG files on there any solutions?

I would try puting them in XISO format, get QWIX 101 and make an ISO of the stuff you want and pop that in the disk drive. Wink

xiso format is a good idea,sometimes it depends on what dvd-drive you have.the best one is the samsung drive.

Well, i was trying that and quix was saying that it was an xbox iso.
didn't really mess with it too much, but when ever i go home again i could try figuring it out.

You said a dat disk not an ISO, your best bet is really to get the FTP working since it sucks to rip a disk for small files and such.
