hi
first, some specs:
xbox v 1.0 pal
i modded my box ~2 weeks ago with a xbit chip
and installed a 80gb samsung hd (5400, 2mb cach)
dash = slayer's auto installer 2.5
bios evox m8
the box works fine ... i can play all my dvds, avi, mpg, ... movies
i copied some pal games with dvd2box like halo or soulcalibur 2 ... they work fine but the suffering won't start ... i got some ntsc games like metal slug3, tony hawks underground or shrek 2 ... metal slug3 works but the other games doesn't so i dont think it's an pal/ntsc problem
when i want to start them, there only is the loading sign and that's it
than i have to reboot the box
some ideas ?

hey thr33pw00d and welcome to xbox-hq mate
It sounds like they need to be patched.. Thats pretty easy.. Normally DVD2XBOX patches the files on the fly but you may need to update to the latest version of DVD2XBOX for that game.
Another way would be to download these patching tools and copy the root .xbe file from each game (default.xbe) and patch it with the tools on your PC..
i've downloded the 0.5.9 version of dvd2xbox an re-riped the suffering ... the same sh*t again ... just the loading sign and i've to reboot
i patched the games with the programs you linked ... the same program again
i tried some other bios like the m7_ef evox ... nothing worked
some other good ideas ?

If you are using DVD2Xbox, just save the text below into a file called "4d570015.acl" FTP this file to your xbox in the /acl/ folder of where you installed dvd2xbox:

ok ... i will try when i'm @ home
but, i forgot ... i tried to patch tony hawks underground and the programs told me, that it got an old flag an it don't need to be patched ... but tony also can't load Oo
so ... can patching be the only problem? is the slayer, the mod-chip or the bios incompatible with the games?
are there some options in slayers importet, for starting a game?

I have been looking awhile to download DVD2Box, and I haven't been able to find it. So thr33pw00d can you provide alink for me? I want to download Xbox and PS2 games.
