i softmodded my xbox today first i installed the SID 3.0 then AID2.0 i installed avalaunch its a non modded xbox (ie no mod chip) and then when i shut it off a service required screen what do i do now?

what is the error code on the screen?
ps. modded = modified, soft or chipped doesn't matter

i get an error 13 when i boot with nothing inside the xbox tray open or closed i get an error 14 when i boot with the AID 2.11 disc inside or when i put it in and i can boot games if they are put in then restart the xbox with them inside

Load the game you used for the exploit and redo the softmod. The gamesaves should still be there. Be sure to make a back up of your m$dash and eeprom.

i"prepared my HD" so i guess the save got deleted off but is there any wayi can load it back on with out the dashboard i did backup my eeprom tho.. i think with xbox config or something

thx for the help...i hoped it didnt have to come to opening the xbox but i guess i have to but what did i do wrong i had the avalaunch dash loaded but when i turned the xbox off thats when it screwed up so for next time what should i do and what do i need to do after the hotswap

Here's another tutorial for hotswapping. The guy who wrote it, Pirrup, is always around. So ask away, he won't flame if you have a question either.
When you do get it working, Auto installer deluxe will do a nice job of installing dashes, and many other apps. This way, you would have the same problems you experienced this time around. Good luck _________________
