softmod run ok but I canīt play backup cdr games or cd audio the dvd-r works fine but games, audio and divx recorded in a cdr dont work.
Can someone help me please.
I jus tested with more than one cdr (sky, sony, etc.) no one works

XBOX DVD ROM drive cannot read cdr media. You have to burn your data to cdrw. That's the only way it will work.

I download de iso (xbox-sky) and then I use nero.
The dvd-r work (memorex, sony, sky, princo) , only the cdr dont work in this softmod xbox. I have other modchip xbox and I can play all the dvd-r and cdr (with - audio, games and divx) so I dont know why in the
softmod xbox the cdr dont work.
neVes in your xbox you can not play cdr backups of audio? Only with cdrw you can do this? Its very strange I allways play cdr audio games and divx backups in my modchip xbox and all work very well.

My modchip xbox is a samsung.
The softmod xbox it seems to be a samsung to (the dvd tray seems to be a samsung it have the holes like a samsung). I dont know how it looks a hitachi drive but the softmod xbox is from 7-05-2005, so or is a samsung or a hitachi.

My softmod xbox is a samsung, but shloud be diferente from my modchip xbox samsung drive because in the modchip I can play the cdr and in the softmod I can't.
I think my modchip xbox drive is a 605 rev.B and my softmod xbox is a samsung 605 rev. F.
someone can tell me what cdr work in this samsung drive (605 rev. F)?
