FIRST OFF im new to modding so be gentle...lol
I have xecutor 2 and my problem is that it will connect to xbox media center and i can listen to music. So i know that i have connection to the internet. When i try to connect through live it goes to troubleshooter and it says check cables. Who ever modded the box put a serial type connector and 4 dipp switches but i dont know what there for. I want to be able to switch th box off and paly online but also want to keep my movies and burned game. Please help.....thanx in advance

So it is a X2 Modhcip??
If it is then ill link you to the X2 Switch Tutorial which explains what position each switch should be in for ON/OFF and other banks.
Once you understand what the switch positions do you can set them up.
You shold be able to play XBOX LIVE with no probs once you turn off you mod.
ok i tried the switches...i switched the chip off as stated by the diagram you provided. THe xbox boots to a error screen with a 13 at teh left of the text. Whats going on and how do i fix it and get live...?

First, you can't play games off your hard drive on live, next, the hard drive needs to be locked. Then the chip needs to be turned off. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

13 is a dashboard error, you probably dont have the xboxdash in C
the reason it wont let you connect to live with the chip on is because the bios prevents you from doing something stupid and getting banned _________________ .

since your getting a dashboard error im going with what aweirdguy says..
Your dash is missing..
So get ahold of the Auto Installer Deluxe v2.0, unrar the files so you get a AID2.iso file.. Then burn this .iso file using nero, dvddecrypter etc etc and boot it in your xbox with your modchip ON..
