OK, im at the aid installer rite now, its freezing up a lot, everytime i click, every time i move, even if i do nothing, jus like 10 second freezes. now i went in the softmod menu and tried nkpatcher + msdash, i got an error! it said Action: Rename. i went to c my c: drive and only one or 2 things had copied over. i tried nk +ms again, 2 more times then pbl twice, still no avail. im still in my aid menu and my computer is ftped 2 it. im downloading the backup from my e: drive now too. when i tried restore/format hdd, that didnt work either!!! im gonna try and upload my backup to my c: drive to c mayb it will giv me my ms dash back at which point itll still work, plz help me tho!!!!!!

nvm false massive alarm, it froze up, i turned off my box, and then i could turn it on! i stuck splinter cell in and sid3ed my box. then i tried aid 2 more times and had the same problem DOH. i'll try burning a dvd

make sure u update AID to version 2.02. I think there was a problem with the initial release and softmods.

Hi xKRAYOLAx,
It sounds like your xbox is having trouble reading the CDRW you have the AID2 on.. Try DVD-R like you mentioned you would..
I bet it works fine then..
No wonder it freezes.. heheh trying to read from CDRW... lol
DVD-R is always best when using the SID or AID..
