I downloaded AID 2.0V on my comp its an iso file i burned it to a cd using nero the IMAGE thing it worked but now what do i do? i put it in my xbox and nothings happening. i soft moded it the ohter day (unleashed X is the softmod i used)and it says the tray;s empty i did it on the slowest speed it said it worked and was fine but now when i put it in my xbox nothing happens HELP? Oh and i used a memorex CD-R because it was recomended...but its not finding the disk i downloaded the one file on it that was around 600 MB
maybe the cd is bad? do i have to use a dvd? what?

Hi BenRoti and welcome to HQ mate..
ok. First mistake is burning to CDR..
Not many xboxes can read CDR so im guessing yours cant..
Try a CDRW and a copule of different brands.. (start with the cheapest).
DVD-R is always best but if you dont have it CDRW will do.
Man thank you sooo much i really like this site. EVERYONE is EXTREAMLY helpful no one has been an ass. I totally sound like a noob on this site which im pretty much am. Ok one last quetsion if you dont mind while im at it. I need like a detailed response for this too cuz im a noob.

1 When i DL the AID 2.0 to a DVD can i put more than one Pack on it LIke can i put AID 2.0 AND AID 2.2?(if so how?)
2. And my AID 2.2 is very weird i Downloaded it and like there isnt an ISO file like the first AID 2.0...im not quite sure how im supposed to find that one...i can browse through all of it and i can see the diff bios and emus and apps and stuff but i dont see an ISO...am i supposed to put the diff apps aand stuff on there all by them selves?

You need the AID V2.0 ISO updater, I am not sure where they have it stored as for downloading. Very simple, find the .iso and then another window, find the .rar update file and click rewrite or whatever and BAM!.
Its supposed to be a .rar, you use the iso updater to take the .rar, merge it, and then rewrite an .iso _________________ XBOX v1.6

ok ok so let me get this straight? First i have the ISO file on my comp the original 2.0 no update or ne thing. Then i go and Rar it now on the comp? before i burn it to a disk? or do i have to put it on the disk and do this/ im kinda lost Im sooo sorry i really am tryin to understand this haha its kinda tough if your a noob like me... but ne ways i need to download the 2.O update first or can i just put the 2.2 on there? and for the 2.2 do i have to do the update by comp first like do i have to transfer or as you said rewrite the fiels? or something along thoes lines? sorry guys

No.
There is an ISO updating program designed specifically for 2.0.
You download 2.02 update package, not an iso, as a .RAR
The program unpacks the ISO and repacks it with that RAR into another ISO.
You Burn that ISO to disc.
And no you don't need 2.01 according to DJB, I asked him earlier today as a matter of fact. _________________ XBOX v1.6

ok so i do need the updates for them not the orginal 2.0 v i need the 2.0 update then i can put the 2.2 on my xbox right did i catch that right?

1. download AID2 full iso
2. Download AID2 update packss
3. unrar the AID2 v2.0 so you have a .iso file
4. now use the AID2 update tool to update the .iso with the update packs.
5. Thats it..
6. Burn it and boot in your xbox.
