I'm trying to do my first softmod. I;m using a 40GB WD HD. The game save way did not work (After buying 2 different mem cards, 2 digfferent games, and using 4 different controlers, 2 different xboxes, and 7 days out of my life ) So I am now trying to take a fresh new HD and connect it directly to my puter.
I was able to create a "xbox hard drive from scratch." I rebuilt both the c and E drives using a backup of an already softmoded xbox.
NOW. once all that is done, do I then "LOCK" the hard drive while it's connected to the puter? or connected it ti the xbox first. If the answer is the xbox, how do I lock it there?
