I'm using Xbox Hard Disk Maker 1.1, made from ISO into CD, I managed to have a C drive backup to add to the ISO but, it needs my eprom from my hd. If my xbox doesnt boot and I need to rebuild it, how do i get my HD password or eprom file? I have the HD hooked up to my PC as master and cant do anything because the HD is locked. But it says I need the password. I'm feeling overwhelmed as I've spent countless hours on this project. please any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you missed a step in the process. You needed to make a backup of your EEPROM using EvoX. If you did that there would be a file called EEPROM.txt in your C:\Backup folder. If you think you did do that check your Iso image, as the EEPROM file shoudl be contained somewhere on that disk (In the /CDROM/C/Backup folder). Also try looking for the latest version of xboxhdm, I believe the latest version out is 1.9 that has some added functionality that might help you.

If you didn't make the EEPROM backup in EvoX then you are in trouble... I have a box in that state (my friend torched his dashboard) and I believe your best bet there is attempting the hotswap method. Basically you need to power on your box, let the Xbox unlock your hd, unplug the hd while the Xbox is still plugged in, do your modification there, then plug the hd back in while the xbox is still on, and power it off to let it relock your hd. I am not sure how well this method works, but from what I understand that is what you are supposed to do.

when I do a regular softmod there is no option to backup eprom. unlkess thats in the softmod backup files? I use AID then mechassult then install evox dash. I do a MS Dash and MOD backup. But recently I was fooling around with other dashboards and messed things up. (4 Xboxes to be excact)
I have orderd an Xbox interactive recovery CD that will erease my HD for me. Its an original disk so I dont need a soft mod. I hope it works Smile

The EEPROM backup functionality is in the EvoX dashboard.
