I have started to repair xbox’s and I am looking to get a solder less chip so I can move it from xbox to xbox for obvious reasons. I don’t want to spend too much money so I thought of the buying the Xecuter 2.6. Is this the best chip for the job.. ie can you FTP to the xbox with it. Lock, unlock hard drives, I have the Xecuter 3 fitted to another xbox what are the differences?. Can any one give me a full list of what it can do.

If you want to go cheap on a solderless, the Xenuim is about 50 bucks. I would choose this chip over using the x2.6. The 2.6 in a solderless setup would be this much without the features the Xenuim has to offer. Not to mention you will have a Operating system to work with. _________________ Xbox v1.3

if your going to be working on alot of xboxes you probably want to buy the sp solderless adapter made by xenium. it works with almost all chips and it works on all versions of the xbox. as far as chips go get whatever you think is best... x2.6, x3, xenium... they are all great chips.

Thanks for the help guys. I taken your comments on board and gone for the Xenium Spice basically gone for the best of both, the Xenuim and the sp solderless adapter. See how I was persuaded away from the x2.6. Thanks again guys for taking time to reply to my post
