Hey guys,
So as you guys may be aware for the past few weeks Ive been trying to finish up my mod, all I done is installed is installed my chip (Xectuer 3CE) flashed it (3029 bios) and hooked up mu X3CP.
All of the above when really well, but as Im aware I have to install a dashboard yet, but I also want to upgrade my HDD to a Maxtor 200GB HDD.
Ive tried going the AID disk route but I cant for the life of me get it to work. So cant anyone direct me on how to finish up my mod???

I"m still baffled to why you cannot load AID, but you can always try a different installer like Slayers 2.6 (which I think you can find on Xbins) or maybe someone else has it for you..not sure.
The only other option is to try to just burn an evox installer, or even FTP the evox files and manually configure your evox.ini file
You probably have already formatted the 200GB HD, if not, the X3 config live should be able to do that for you I would imagine. Since SmartXX and Xenium ice OS systems can, I would bet that X3 could too.
Then, once you have your partitions all done, you can FTP evox files to C: and your Apps to F: or however you have it setup.
It's a lot harder to go that route, but at this stage it seems the installer disk is not going well for you so you don't have much choice. If you would like, you can ship me your HD and I can just configure it for you.

Thanx again for all your help. I was seriously thinking baout shipping you my xbox and stuff and paying you to finish it for me.
If I shipped you just my HDD and you "format it" for me does that mean all I'll have to do is hook it up and itll work? Cause yea the other route doesnt sound like something I want to do.
If i were to send it to you, not to sound untrusting, but what kinda insurance do I have that Ill get it back, from the sounds of it you a honest guy so id have no problem do that. Just let me know what Id have to do if I went that route.

Just let me know that if I sned you my HDD and you configure it for me will it then work, I mean I would then be down with me mod?
