I have a new Xbox (1.6), a USB adapter, and a 256MB USB stick.

I have downloaded SID 2.0 to my Gentoo box but can't write the necessary files to the stick because I can't mount a fatx drive.

Is there an image (.img) file available anywhere that contains the files needed on the stick for any of the SID exploits?

If I could download such an image couldn't I just do the following to copy it to the stick?

dd if=foo.img of=/dev/sda1

Thanks canman.

I found that method also and it worked great!

I formatted the stick on the unmodded xbox then plugged it into my linux box and booted it with the Xebian CD.

I mounted the the stick and the hard drive that contained the UDATA directory and copied over the files.

Easy.

The only catch is when you boot the Xebian CD you must enter "24" at the first boot prompt to get a 2.4 kernel for fatx support.
