Tryed to flash my X3 with the new 3108 bios.
I flashed to both my 1-4 and 5-8 banks.
Now I cant find any dip switch combination that will allow me to boot.
Is there a way to clear all the banks and start fresh?
Thanks in advance for any help.

The X3 unfortunately has somewhat a convoluted recovery process. If you have the X3_erase on your HD, you can always flash a 256k bank with X2 4983 bios. Then, launch evox or some type of file explorer and run the X3_erase.xbe file.
That will clear your banks.
Otherwise, you will need to use a programmer of some sort. I have only had to use the X3_erase once, and it wasn't fun to get going.

Thank you for the fast responce. I think im screwed because I cant even find an open 256k bank to load another bios. As far as a programmer, would a programer for the X2 work with the X3? I have only seen one programer on the market for X2. Could you let me know where to find others?

Actually, I am not sure what programmer is available for the X3, only assumed that there was one...
I am curious why you cant at least boot to your safe mode and flash that 256k bank.
When you press both power button and eject button in your X on the switch should turn a purplish color and you should boot up into that bank...
You may be relegated to sending the chip back to your chip supplier for them to handle for you. Thats one of the three things I hate about the chip. Unlike the Xenium Ice or SmartXX there is no recovery switch to just throw it into recovery mode and set back to factory condition.. I also hate that damn external bios/bank switch. They have the most powerful OS/Bios around but yet cannot allow it to handle bios and bank configuration/flashing...what's up with that??
Hope you get it sorted, I know a lot of people that are in the same boat when they have tried to flash the chip even for the very first time.

This is why you are "TheModGod".
I totaly forgot about the back-up bank. I was so into those dam dip switch settings I overlooked the easy quick fix. Yes, I did just as you recommended and was able to flash the 2914 bin and was back up. But, I still could not get the 3108 bin to work, Untill I started to read more about my other problem. I have not been able to save my settings via X3 config live. So, I did as another post recommended and checked my solder points at pins 13 and 14. After that I was not only able to save my settings I was also able to load the 3108 bios and boot with out any problems.

I'll have to keep those 13 and 14 pins in mind... I keep forgetting about that. I have read about that a lot on the Xecuter forums.
