Well here is my first attempt at case modding...I got the color scheme from my 2002 Dodge Ram....I just love Blue And Silver...next is a light modding kit...This isn't perfect but it's a start...Let me know what you guys think!

Nice work..
Also, you can paint the underside of the jewel you cleared out to match your flames and second tone..
Or, maybe mask off where the jewel goes and go ahead and paint the case top where the jewel would fit over. The painted jewels though for some reason look slightly better. Actually, I think a nice clear coat would do that case wonders, but still none-the-less its sweet! Good job!
Here's a case where the jewel was painted on the underside to match second tone

I hadn't painted the jewel yet...it was still clear...but I painted it the blue metallic so when I put in the light mod i can use white LEDs and it will shine through...I do think I need to add more clear ( I did this from automotive spray paint) I put 2 light coats on it but it does need more. I am also thinking of wet sanding the X where the flames are...anyone think this is a bad idea???
By the way here is my painted jewel:

That jewel looks tight! Good job on the whole thing. Very nicely done. It's refreshing to see that you took your time and did it right!

Thanks guys...I have just got 2 more XBOXs off ebay cheap that I am going to chip then paint...I have a very expensive German made spray gun that was I got from a friend as collateral for some cash I let him borrow that I might try using (after I practice with it) to paint the other two that I have. I just have to come up with some paint schemes. Any ideas pass them along...
Thanks again
