I used sandpaper to clear my jewel because i couldnt find nething else in my house to clear it with. All the paint is off, but now it's all scratched. Is there anway to ramove the scratches?

BRASSO works great. get an old rag or tshirt and stretch it out and pour brasso on it and rub the jewel in it. do it really fast in a circular motion. if it doesnt work try again. hope this helps

After you get the sticky black glue off, soak the jewel in Easy-Off oven cleaner for about 1 hour. Let it sit paint side up and after about 1 hour you can scrape the paint off with your fingernail and NO scratches. Rinse in soapy water to get the oven clraner all off and wipe with a cotton cloth and there you have it. _________________ XBox v1.0

You can get Easy-Off oven cleaner at all grocery and discount dept stores.

how do you get the damn jewel off with out breaking my knife(DAMNIT) or scratching the top case of the box. i've been trying for the last five minutes and now its starting to piss me off. what do i need to heat the bastard or somehting, i already got the box apart and i was just fooling around cuz i'm going to make the jewel clear.

hey thank a lot man i took your advice and i used a hair dryer. i heated it up for 4 minutes and BAM all done, now my next question how can i get this f-ing Paint off with just crap i got at home. i want to clear my jewel.but i'm lazy, i dont want to drive anywhere. lol
also i just wanted to recommend somevbody getting some mars volta, he kicks ass especially his song Inertiatic Esp, and Dumb Waiters. off topic but screw it i'm wierd lol.

1st time i used nail polish remover and scraped it off. 2nd time i just scraped it off with the tip of the butter knife. try it with out without the nail polish remover. when all the green is removed then u gotta use BRASSO to make it all nice and clear. _________________ XBOX

i also heard one of my modding buddies clear a jewel by setting it in gasoline for like a minute and then you just rub it off. i dont know if it works but if you clear another jewel fore i do let me know
