Which install? The softmod one? Would that bring back the M$ dash?

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, if you can run a game- just re-run the exploit of your choice. You should at this point be able to Restore you back-up (hopefully you backed up your mod, Retail Dash- or even both. Just load the one you want and you should be fine. If you need any other help just PM me,

He was saying that the backup somehow corrupted, my advice is to use a tool such as AID, and just tell it to install the ms dash for you, this should overwrite the softmod, and then be fine.

Simple fix for restoring your original dash. Pop in halo 2 or some newish game with xbox live support and voala! M$ dash restored to 5960 version. Worked for me.

i had this problem once. If you cant even get the game to load off the boot, then you HAVE to reinstall the microsoft dash using a chip in your box or putting your hard drive in a friend's chipped box and then using the AID disc.
