Well, Best Buy now sucks the big one. I have been buying my Xbox's from them as much as possible. Lately, they have been stocked great. Since Xmas I was having to get them from Wal-Mart, but the last two months my local Best Buy has bee hooked. I like it because I have the reward zone card and can get a free Xbox every three weeks with the amount of machines that I buy.
Unfortunately, I can't let my points accumulate for an entire year, which would be cool to get a new DLP TV, so I just use them for a free machine every month.
But, I went in today to buy only 3 Xboxs and I got the old, "We can only sell you one" routine!! From now on I have to buy my Xbox's through some special program they have if I want more than one.
Unbelievable. I find it amazing that companies do all they can to NOT take your fucking money.

LOL yeah and all there doing is making a killing off of modders like us i know what you mean but to beat that your a new customer ever time you walk in and out.
lol so what i did to one store i send sell me two or you can sell me one and ill be back in 5 mins for you to sell me another one because soon as i walk out im a new customer...
It works for stores where they limit there orders to 1 per customer just go out side and go inside again lol
then lol at them at the till and say im back lol buying another one till they get even more pissed at you then the manager will sell you what you want because every time you throw a show boot and people watch they dont like that stuff. I went in to best buy awile back to buy 2 xboxes they ask me why i just said to mod them lol anything else you want to know lol...then i said its not bad to mod your system you can do what every you want to it its your product you just cant copy it lol
then they sold me both at the till...but i dont know if they change the ack at best buy if there only allowed to sell 1 per customer but just walk out and in again and get another one till they get pissed and sell you what ever if they know you lol
i dont know why they would be saying that they sell there shit faster to customers that come back and get more at onces then just buying a movie onces in a blue moon...
give that a shot pm me let me know how it went... I would do it if they told me that i just go in and out but first i would tell them thats what im going to do so sell me the two or ill be back in 5 mins after i go out and come back and maybe have time in the middle to go get drink from store

Well, I thought I would give BestBuyBiz a shot. Especially since the person told me that maybe I would even get a discount since I buy so many machines from them. This month alone I have purchased 24 machines from Best Buy, the rest were all from Wal-Mart.
I was blown away when the rep told me that because the Xbox has such a low profit margin the only way he would sell me more than one Xbox is if I paid $159.99 for it...HA...can you fucking believe that.
I said, "let me get this straight. I wan to purchase multiple items from your store and instead of selling me them at suggested retail or slightly less, you are going to raise the price by almost 9.3% !! " Dead silence followed for about four seconds until I just said, well it looks like I am buying from Wal-Mart.
People can complain about wally world all they want, but the fact of the matter is, they sell me what I want when I want it. Plus, my local Wal-Mart sells them for $142.50 which is more savings than I get back in rewards dollars from best buy anyway.

LMAO!!! at first i was going blame it on the "xbox shortage" and maybe they want to be fair to others by giving them the opportuniny to buy a xbox (which would be a lame excuse).
but what you were just told sounds fucking retarded...i mean what did they expect? were you supposed to be excited/happy to buy xboxes for approx. $17.50 more per console?
the only reason i like bestbuy is because of their extended waranty program (which i abuse as much as possible)...other than that i wouldnt mind getting electronics from wally world.

LOL the same thing happened to me, I wasnt buying xboxes though, I was buying blank media. I wanted about 10 spindles each of cd-r and dvd-r in the 100 spindle things. The prce on the shelf said one thing, then when I got to pay they said that price was only good one per customer. So I paid almost $25 more altogether; then wrote a happy letter to the best buy corporation. I got a letter back from the district manager for AZ along with a check for the entire amount I paid (not just what I was charged over the displayed price) and an apology, along with 10000 reward points. I was pretty happy and next time I went there I showed the letter to the store manager and there werent anymore one per customed at that price problems. I would suggest you do the same. Write a letter to the corporation and say theyve lost your buisness (send some receipts with how much you buy from there) and yuor friends and families buisness too and youll be surprised. Oh yeah, I wrote a nice nasty-gram to the corporate office today. I photo-copied all my receipts for the month of March and so far in this month I have actually spent 3700.00 and change, which was a little higher than I thought, but I forgot that I also purchased a new home theater receiver and a few other odds and ends.
I too have a rewards card and included my member ID number. If they take a look at the last three months they will see how much they are losing. My local Wal Mart stores have about fifty machines on display, so there is an abundance of machines once again. I still keep 6 machines on lay-away at my three closest stores in case of shortages. I figure that gives me an 18 system cushion in the event of rough times...lol.
