OK, I am new and am willing to learn and do! I paid to have my first xbox "modded" and now want to do it myself. There was no mod chip installed, btu rather the original BIOS was re-flashed after soldering 2 jumpers/pads on the motherboard.

i reaize this is a then a softmod, but can someone direct me as where to get started?!

The tutorial section is a great wealth of knowledge to start at. I would suggest using a "true" soft mod that doesn't require any soldering. There are a few good tutorials out there and some really good explanations in the forums.
