I used ltools and splinter cell to softmod a xbox. i got f drove with the 137 gigs but when i put in autoinstaller and use the partition app it says somthing about a patch or different bios. do i need to install different bios or a different partitioning app?

Get the Xbox-HQ PC Apps pack, and then use the bios tool for which ever bios you loaded with Ltools. Just use the BFM version of the tool, and it shoudl be no problems.
